Venus retrograde: love, money and looking back
From 3 October to 14 November, the planet of love and pleasure travels backwards through Scorpio and Libra. Here's how to work with it.
Venus — the planet of love, beauty, pleasure and money — appears to move backwards from 3 October to 14 November 2026, travelling from Scorpio back into Libra (it changes sign on 25 October).
Retrogrades aren't disasters. They're an invitation to review, revisit and reflect before moving forward.
What it can bring up
- Exes or unfinished conversations resurfacing
- Questions about what you truly value — in love and in how you spend
- A desire to change your look (wait before anything drastic!)
Working with it
- Journal: what did past relationships teach you about what you need?
- Declutter: clothes, beauty products, gifts that no longer feel like you
- Hold off on signing big contracts, major purchases or dramatic haircuts if you can
- Rekindle old hobbies and pleasures you've let slip
Venus turns direct on 14 November in Libra. Whatever you've reflected on, you'll be ready to act on it with clearer eyes.
